Perhaps we're cuter in the kitchen. The UN secretary general chose men to lead a group of decision makers who hold the purse strings for the financing of UN climate change efforts worldwide. 1 in 16.05 - odds you will die in the workplace by a death caused by being struck by a vehicle. Watch out!!
1 in 18.67 - odds you will die in the workplace by a death caused by being caught in or compressed by equipment or an object. Now this one was tough for me. Look around you. I supposed there might be someone large who might fall on you. Compressed? Died of 'compression.'
Another personal fave and one for our environmentalist movement; "Don't drive to work, work from home- it will save your life!" Odds of a workplace death caused by a highway transportation incident - 1 in 4.19.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama has signed a bill that gives $7 billion in aid to Pakistan over five years, a measure that the nuclear-armed U.S. ally's military had claimed was an intrusion into the nation's internal affairs.
The White House said the aid package signed Thursday provides $1.5 billion annually for economic and social programs as the Obama administration works to shore up Pakistan's return to civilian rule and to encourage it in the fight against Taliban and al-Qaida militants...
From NPR "The Daily Ausaf, a major Urdu-language newspaper, described the assistance provided under the Kerry-Lugar bill, as the legislation is known, as "a sweet poison." At sermons during Friday prayers last week, some clerics assailed the bill as enslavement."
